Yeah I have the same problem sometimes, but with UPC. I think its just the servers are overloaded. Is it just MW3 or other games too?

Don't think its your connection then. I have 50meg with nat type 2 and I'm having problems. It says servers too busy or something. Just have to keep trying or wait until its not busy.

I was with Eircom when i first bought the house back when and the router they issued was the problem. Their new routers disconnect every 30 minutes for a millisecond which has no effect except for online gaming.

Solution: Move from Eircom. If you can get UPC i recommend it (had it in 3 different places and has the best ping out of all of them).

Its the firewall thats doing it you have to go to the router home page think it 192.168.1.2 ?? (might have to google that) and there is an option to let the game through choose the COD one. or else just turn off the firewall and it will connect i had the same issue with BF3.
