    Hi-

does anyone know if you can edit the html in Gmail which isn't limited to the click-based text edit and insert options.

Pasted some Html code for a countdown clock in an outgoing e-mail in the Html-Rich format but it didn't work. It just assumed it was all text and auto-hyperlinked any web addresses. :(

P.s I'm pretty sure I've googled this a reasonable amount to justify asking.

I highly doubt Google allow you to execute JavaScript from inside an e-mail.

It would leave your inbox open to getting hacked.

So I don't think a working countdown clock can be put in an email.
