Economics Experiment: Ideas plz!

Our economics class has been given an assignment to study the concept of "Rational Economic Man" - utility, self-interest and rationality. Easy enough to explain, but we also have to do experiments on 20 people to test the concept and that's where I'm stuck.

I thought about doing a version of the Coke/Pepsi test for utility. So anyone got some good ideas on how I might do test "self-interest" and rationality?

Oh and if you wanna be a guinea pig for a day let me know!

    No official suggestions as such.

But "Nudge: Improving Decisions about Health, Wealth and Happiness" by Thaler & Sunstein would be worth a look for some ideas on rationality and economic man.
