Hi guys,

Does anybody know a way to get the password lock on an encrypted backup? The missus has one back up of her 3gs on ios5, and wants to restore an iphone4 ios5 from this, but it keeps asking her for a password to unlock the backup. I originally backed it up and have no memory of setting a password.

We have tried every password we ever used for anything between us and no luck.

Anyone any ideas?

Have you tried the passcode lock code (not the timed auto lock code) for the phone?

If you hadn't set one, try 0000
