    Howdy all,

Looking for any advice regarding coffee shops in the NCD area, to organise some morning spins around.

Anybody have any experience of any with some decent coffee? (note: I am also partial to a slice of cake)

    Cheers

    The Grange in Ballyboughal.

The Seamus Ennis Centre in the Naul.

Java Detour in Julianstown - not NCD but they do have a plaque up to a former RAS winner (or maybe it's a stage winner)

Couple of nice spots in Skerries and Balbriggan Main streets

Olive's - the problem is it is too popular, but coffee and cakes are great

Now there's a man after my own heart! None of this plan the route and find somewhere on the way nonsense ..... there is nothing more important than a good cup of coffee!

That's mad, Ted. Despite much cycling around NCD, I was unaware of the Grange until last night. I was out on a spin with honkjelly and he sung its praises as we headed through Ballyboughal at 10.15 or so. I think he had been holding out some kind of hope that it might still be open.

I would caution that honkjelly looks like he may never have eaten a cake.

Maybe that's where he was last week when everybody was looking for him .....?

General consensus looks like The Grange so, I shall try it tomorrow and report back on my findings. Cheers lads for all the suggestions.

Was in the Grange today for the first time on a club spin.
Nice spot, "Death by Chocolate" would actually be a good way to go.
