Surely that price is far, far to big?

I said I'd have a look today expecting them to be around Evens and couldn't believe they're available at that price with numerous bookmakers.

Can anyone see any reason they won't win it this season?

They do look fairly unstoppable but I think they need to lose to take away the whole unbeaten aspect of the season off their shoulders. They could come up against someone in the playoffs with a good defense such as NYG which could put a stop to their run

They'll still probably be that price come playoff time and at least by then you'll know who they face.

Plus their defence just got their arse handed to them by the Chargers so I'd be waiting for signs of improvement. Maybe I'm just being catious as a fan, but we're relying on the God that is Aaron Rodgers a hell of a lot at the minute to cover up the frailties of our secondary.

I still don't know enough about the sport to start betting on teams at that sort of price where you'd need to put decent money down for a worthwhile return so I won't be backing them, but I just thought it was strange how they were such a high price considering they're still unbeaten this season and don't look like they'll have too much trouble going all the way.

They're worthy favourites, and the price is about right.

They'll probably be the one seed in the NFC but there are still questions marks about their run game and their defence. its about to get a lot colder too, so the high flying offence likely won't hav eperfect conditions for the rest of the season.

Teams like the Saints and the Patriots can match them score for score on a good day. it'll be interesting to see how GB play if they face any of the elite defences too.

Worthy favourites, with the best player in the NFL leading them, but I wn't be lumping on them at 5/2

Not nearly high enough to lump some on now, and I'm saying that as a fan. You would be crazy to take that price. K-e-r-a-z-y!

We should have homefield in the playoffs if we keep going this way. Lets see how the Giants game in the reg season goes and if we get a good win and good performance I'll stick a months wage on that price!

I agree that the price is about right at the moment as the Packers still have the momentum coming off their Superbowl win but we are only half-way through the regular season.

It is quite possible that any one of a number of teams could get up a head of steam going into the play-offs.

The Packers have seen a disturbing decline in the effectiveness of the defense this season, which is currently being bailed out by a prodigious offense. As the season wears on teams are going to get better at shutting down Rodgers, so the defense will then have to really up its game. The defining question is - can it?

Reasons they mightn't win it include injuries to key players like Aaron Rodgers for instance.

Yep, but their high flying pass offence isn't as effective. Meaning thier pourous run defence isn't as easily hidden

True but I'd wager the packers offence against a team like the saints in the cold all day long.

Also our defence will step up when required.

Clay matthews is just lettin AR have the spotlight for now!
