Just wondering if they are any good?

Can you use Itunes with it?

They are in Dunnes at €199 at the moment.

    Hi!

Got the Archos 101 (aka G8) a couple of weeks ago. Only €150 in HMV - best price elsewhere is €199 (in Power City & Petes). Wasn't immediately impressed with it but its definitely growing on me. Bought it for wifi web browsing and e-reading. E-reader is good (reads epub format) and have since downloaded loads of books so happy on that front. I've had problems with wifi - showing wifi connection ok but not always connecting - bit of a pain and very hit and miss - whether I'm two feet from the router or upstairs.

Great ports - full USB so can easily watch videos downloaded from wherever. MiniHdmi out - am waiting for my minihdmi converter so I can stream videos to my TV.

All in all, a tidy gadget at a really good price. Would recommend.

    Michael

you can get an app to run an Android device using Itunes, now why you'd want to do this I don't know :eek: ! Something like This App should do it for you though. My m8 got a tablet similar to this which had a resistive screen on it, he didn't like it much due to this but €150 does sound pritty decent for it all factors considered
