    hi guys
I have had problems with my laptop, i have windows home premium OEMAct
    service pack 1
i need to re-install the whole lot again.
the problem is that i have no discs, as the laptop came with them built in.
Has anyone got these and would it be possible to send me some copies
as i have tried everything else

    thanks

    Thread will probably be locked.

Best option to do it legally, would be go to a shop a buy a copy of Windows 7.

Best option to do it illegally, google it.

Is the laptops hidden recovery partition still there? You can use this to restore if so, if you got a new hard drive you will need to contact the manufacturer for install media, which as you guessed it will have a nice "processing and shipping" fee attached.
It may be cheaper for you to buy Windows 7 if that is the case, something you likely won't regret :) . Can pick up upgrade licenses cheap enough so you can upgrade from your Vista CD Key

PM me. I can let you have a copy of a DELL installation disc. I will not be providing a serial, but you shouldn't need one if installing on a Dell machine.
    This is all 100% legal!!

    Cheers

You could try pressing F8 button as the computer starts up and from there, choose the "Repair My Computer" option (If it appears, sometimes it doesn't ). Then, using the "up" and "down" arrow keys and then "enter". Sometimesk, you'll get the recovery option..

Just a word of warning though... If you do a complete factory restore, all of your data will usually be lost...
