Haven't seen one of these threads in a while.
Good field this week in Singapore with plenty of Irish in the field like McDowell, Harrington, Hoey, Lowry, Cutler, McGinley, Turner, Lawrie, Maybin and McGrane all playing.
McDowell is in good form coming into this week after his 3rd place last week while Harrington needs a strong week to try and qualify for Dubai in a few months.
Probably someone like Y.E Yang will be there or thereabouts come Sunday though i reckon.

Lowry is the leading Irishman at -4. Edoardo Molinari and James Morrison lead the pack at -9. YE Yang is a further shot back after a round of 63.

Peter Lawrie, McGinley and McDowell at -3
    Harrington -2

Harrington needs a great back nine now just to make the cut. Seemed his puuter let him down yesterday - hit 17 greens. All to do now on the tougher of the 2 courses.

Have to say I saw just one putt of PH's on the 9th I think. 2-3 footer. Shocking stroke. An anxious and very weak jab, with the putter stopping at the ball. He really seems to be struggling on the greens.

Harrington is slowly slipping into the abyss. Pete Cowan has plenty of work ahead of him and it doesn't seem that he has had any effect of the downward spirial of our golfing number 1.

I expect Harrington to be back again. Apparently he is working (as always) like a mad man to get his game back in shape.

He is still young, determined and talented enough to do something special again.

I wouldn't write him off just yet!!

The tournament has been reduced to 54 holes, kinda unfortunate really. Hoey is 5 shots back and will do well do have any chance now, plus Cutler yesterday shot 7 under so would have been in good form yesterday to have a strong weekend finish.
