Buying a new car.. How to pay?

Hi all, just wondering what the de facto method of paying for a new car is these days?

I don't particularly want to pay in cash since I have already made a deal for the car and I wouldn't feel too comfortable carrying that kind of money around.
The cars value is €4700. I have €4450 left to pay after deposit. The car is from an SIMI approved dealer.

What are my options? I assume laser is out (not sure what the max is but I imagine that is over it)? Do dealers do bank transfers (although I think there is a limit on how much I can transfer in one month)? What about a bankers draft / bankers cheque? What kind of extra cost am I looking at to get one made up?

    Thanks in advance.

Edit: mods, sorry this should probably have gone into the banking, Insurance & Pensions forum.

When buying my last car I transferred an amount greater than yours by Laser.
