    Does anyone know if the pro hunter is available with a heavy barrel? Im sure i saw them advertised before, but i cannot find them on the website now...

    I dont ever remember them with a heavy barrel.. I had one in 7mm mag and wanted a heavy barrel but was told it couldnt be got.. Thats a few years ago now tho.

    Guys...check out the sportman gun centre in the uk...big steyr mannlicher dealers. the Pro Hunter mk2 is available in .223 .308 & .300WM with a heavy barrel.

    .300wm is what im after too. steyr make a seriously accurate barrel in my opinion. i had a pro hunter in 6.5x55 and it was very accurate. Its a good website.
