Great start to his training career and he seems to have some decent horses with great flat pedigrees going over jumps, all the horses he has are owned and trained by him.

6 wins from his last 10 runners. Cotton Mill won very easily in a maiden hurdle yesterday and looks one to watch and former listed winner on the flat Cry of Freedom won a novice hurdle today first time out over hurdles.

He is the bloodstock advisor of Godolphin so no surprise that he has some nicely bred horses.

Probably a case of his horses being overpriced on his first season, if it was a top trainer some of them would be half the price.

Yes. He is the leading member of Godolphin.

I think it is technically the Darley operation but it is all intertwined.

In fairness I am well aware of ferguson but never heard he started training or saw a picture of the trainer. That said I would not be demanding evidence if I were told.

I shudder to think what would be said if there were two john fergusons and someone commented that the trainer was the preeminent bloodstock dealer.

One has to wonder when he has time to focus on the actual training of these horses as majority of the time he's based overseas??
