He is the bloodstock advisor of Godolphin so no surprise that he has some nicely bred horses.

Probably a case of his horses being overpriced on his first season, if it was a top trainer some of them would be half the price.

Exactly so he is well worth following at the moment.

Was it not the Sheik Mohammed that he is or was the bloodstock advisor for? He#s going well alright 9 winners from 20

Yes. He is the leading member of Godolphin.

I think it is technically the Darley operation but it is all intertwined.

"John Ferguson remains a trainer to follow over jumps after Huntingdon winner Cry Of Freedom gave him a ninth success of the season from only 20 runners.
Ferguson, better known as the bloodstock advisor bidding millions for Sheik Mohammed in sales rings around the globe, has been sent some bluebloods who failed to live up to expectation on the Flat."

Again, it is the same person. I hope you can grasp it this time.

Anyone who follows racing & has even the slightest clue about the sport knows it's John Ferguson of Darley fame FFS.

In fairness I am well aware of ferguson but never heard he started training or saw a picture of the trainer. That said I would not be demanding evidence if I were told.

I shudder to think what would be said if there were two john fergusons and someone commented that the trainer was the preeminent bloodstock dealer.

I didn't realise he had started training either.

One has to wonder when he has time to focus on the actual training of these horses as majority of the time he's based overseas??

I just couldn't bring myself to back that horse today at evens against unraced horses. Flashdean, that was a horrid price.
