Cheap Decent Restaurants for Groups

    Hi All,

    Ill be going to galway with a group of about 25people..Can any of ye recommend restaurants,that are cheap,clean and more importantly have good food.

    Gourmet Tart in Salthill is lovely. €25 for a four course meal. NB supplements for steak etc. service isn't the best but they do a lovely meal and the premises is new and clean. Google them and you'll get an idea of the menu. Most of the restaurants have some sort of early bird which would be also reasonable. Also check out trip advisor for a list of top restaurants in galway with reviews etc.

    By the time you spend the guts of 20euro getting there and back, it doesn't work out that cheap.

    and to be honest I don't thin GT would be able to cater for 25 all at the one go - they seem to find it hard when there are 10 or more people in there, even if all you want is a salad - waited 40 minutes on evening.

    Cactus Jacks cater for groups and is reasonable enough price wise
