Snowboarding Spine Protector

Hi Guys,

So trying to book the ski holiday again (thinking about Oberstdorf again). The problem is I have a bit of a back problem so need a spinal board for protection when I fall. Any recommendation?

i bought a 2nd hand RED one off a friend (and it pretty much saved me the first day i got it when i caught my heel edge on a rail) it was good, but sometimes had a tendency to ride up my back a bit. If you were looking for one with a bit of time on your hands i would advise getting a Dainese one like the action wave S which allows for movement in the small of your back and shoulder blades as the seperate plates can rotate from side to side

I have this one and find it great hardly notice its on me while on the hill!!!

It looks good but dot think it offers lower spinal protection. Thanks hough and thanks for the other replies

Can you use a spine protector with impact shorts or does the bottom of the spine protector cross over with the top of the impact shorts?

I dont wear impact shorts, But one of my mates rides all the time with shorts and Back protector with no problems, The pro-tec impact shorts seem to be quite nice and well fitting!
