What's the feeling this week people?

In Singapore I'm going with Luiten (40/1), Havret (50/1) and Colsaerts (50/1) all e/w. Liking Havret here as he's in top form and had a 67 first round here last year before having to pull out.

In Oz I can't see beyond Scott at 8/1 and going to plumb for Michael Campbell to jump out of the traps to be round 1 leader at 110/1 (before he collapses faster than the AIB share price in 09)

    Going for two this week.

First is Alexander Noren @ 40/1 - Noren is having a very good season and he has good course form, finishing 21 & 31 in the last two years. He only played ok last week but his two victories this year have come after miss cuts.

The other person I went for was Peter Lawrie @ 80-1 he was No.1 for fairways hit in 2009 when sharing 24th and was fourth last year when he finished 25th, he has picked up two top-15s in his last four outings. Lawrie also has a good record in Asia, in his last 11 attempts in Asia he has finished top-25s eight times and has four top-ten

    One pick for each

    Australian Open
    Jason Day Win 10/1

Been consistent all season featuring in the T10 ten times out of 21 on the PGA tour. Been there or there abouts without winning. Back on home soil the Aussie can get that victory he deserves.

    Singapore Open
    Jamie Donaldson Win/Place

Again like Day has been consistent enough all season with good recent form featuring in the T10 in 3 of his last 4 events. Willing to ignore his finish in Andalucia (49th), should be in with a shout.

    Australian Open:
Well I've been looking forward to this one, as I'm sure others have. Really fancy Adam Scott to win this, he's a class player and I think having the home venue will make all the difference. Woods will finish top 10 but not quite sure how well he will do, think he'll surprise a lot of people though.

    Adam Scott €25 at 8/1
    Dustin Johnson €15e/w at 16/1
    Bubba Watson €10e/w at 33/1
    Matt Kuchar €10e/w at 20/1

€5 e/w as well on Kurt Barnes at 80/1.. He's 10th in Australian rankings so I'll have a small piece of that.

    Singapore Open:
Not as interested in this one but will still watch it, much tougher to call a winner here imo there's plenty of players who could step up. I've been extremely impressed with Simon Dyson this season and even had €10 win on him in the Irish Open at 22/1, so I'll reinvest in him here. Karlsson has also been very good and at 45/1 is worth an e/w bet. My main tip here is Oosthuizen, based on current form he will be hard to stop and if he gets going like he can I don't think there's anyone in that field that can match him over 4 days. There's also the chance that he won't show up at all and won't even place.

    Simon Dyson €10e/w at 28/1
    Robert Karlsson €5e/w at 45/1
    Louis Oosthuizen €10e/w at 25/1

Had GMac e/w last week at 40/1 but would like to see who he's playing with first before I consider a bet on him. That's my gambling allowance well and truly gone now!

With all those e/w bets I'd say the bookie loves to see you coming in.

Well I'd expect at least one to place, Johnson or Watson and I'm winning. Field doesn't look that strong, otherwise I might've just thrown the win down, but I think I will have a couple of places here. Hopefully anyway. My golf betting this year has been really successful so I'll try and keep it up.

the bitch is back, -5 today/tonight so far. Pity i only got the 5/1 for woods on offer this morning. On luiten at 40/1 in singapore too!

Singapore down to 54 holes due to day long deluge. Hoping Luiten can grab some place money.

Oz Open final day a potential cracker despite Tiger falling away. Day the man to beat but hoping for Chalmers who I got at 25's after round one. Gonna be a long night!!

Day was in contention for 3 rounds before his challenge faltered  Donaldson could never get involved.

Well done on the Chalmers bet!

Thanks. Thought it was a big price seen as he was -5 after R1 and had won the Oz open before. Very steady player too. Suppose the Tiger factor also enhances everyone else's odds.

Makes up for me backing Colsaerts in Singapore who did his best to seal the wooden spoon :o
