I recently used Tallon Menswear in Harolds Cross when getting set of tails. Very good guy and great service. Plus prices were decent. Seems to only have a Facebook page as website.

I know you are looking to hire a suit but would you consider buying. I bought a black tie suit a couple of years ago fom Marks and Spencer for arround 70 euro. Have used 3 times now and just leave it in the wardrobe, you never know when you may need it again and you don't need to worry about returning it.

    As above.
You'll buy a reasonable quality diner suit for about two or three times the cost of renting (or even less if you are lucky) and you can then get it tailored to fit you. Wearing a tailored suit makes even high end rentals look like tat.
Much more economical in the long run as the suit will last you as long as your body shape does'nt change drastically. :)

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

Conor, that would be an excellent price if i could get it.I bloody walked through M&S in Liffey valley to get to the purple car park, never thought to check there:mad:
Youngs/Addiction Menswear in Liffey Value charge €71 for rental, another €15 for the Cumberland waistcoat to keep in the beer belly.
Noel Reids in the old Dundrum shopping centre are selling off their ex-rentals at around €70 at the minute, so waiting to hear if they have my size..
Burtons in Liffey valley are selling the blact tie jacket ALONE for €115 at the minute, it looks like the trousers is another €60 though
    Asda looks cheap though

I hear you, but not sure i want to be adding clothes to the wardrobe that i will rarely if ever wear again. Knowing my luck when it next comes around to wearing it again, i'll have added a few more kilos:rolleyes:
