Hi. Never messages here before just recently got into crafting. Anyway I'm looking to decorate aglass for my brother's Christmas present this year and have read that this is the best type of paint to use. So I was just wondering if anyone has used it and what they thought of it and if anybody knows where to get it? Thanks

Ive only ever used L & B glass paint - i got it in solvent based but changed to the waterbased one as you can cook it in the oven and then wash it afterwards.

I've used it for years and find it a very good product. It's water-based so you can clean your brushes in water afterwards, and if the paint is bit old and starts to thicken up, you can just dilute it with a little water.
You don't have to bake the product as the paint air-cures in 7 days (touch dry in 20mins or so). If you do bake it, it will be dishwasher safe ... as much as anything is dishwater safe! (still prone to chipping, etc.)
You paint the item, let it dry, then put into a cold oven. Turn the oven on at 160C (hence the name, Vitrea 160) and bake for about 30mins, then turn the oven off but leave the item in the oven. This way, it heats up gradually and cools down gradually so the glass doesn't crack.

You can also use Porcelaine 150 in the same way, but it's not translucent.
