Curious even I've been awarded my grant which is all good, but missed the first payment. I'm just wondering what the craic is with that? Will I get it with the next payment or at all even?

Best thing you can do is give your local county council/VEC a call and find out. They tend to send payments in batches, so for example there could be a set of cheques arriving into a college from Roscommon County Council today, but there may also be a set in two weeks time, depending on what's processed etc. Safest thing is to ask because you should definitely get it at some point!
