PayPal & Debit Card

I want to use my debit card to put money onto my PayPal account and send it to someone, how can I do this? There doesn't seem to be an option to use my debit card to top up my paypal a/c

If the debit card is added to the account then it Funds the account

Got this error "This credit card has been denied by the bank that issued your credit card. For details on why your card was denied, please contact your credit card issuer's customer service department. Or, you may want to try adding a different credit card." ?

Trying to add a debit card. It's not a credit card but says Visa Debit Cards are accepted

I'm not sure I'll look into it, if all comes to all I'll stick it on my 3v card tomorrow, if I can find the card that is

Looking around online seems alot of people have trouble adding a Visa Debit card, had no problem with my old Laser card but I don't use that account anymore.

No, you can't fund from a bank account.

Paypal never accepted Laser.

Make sure you're not trying to top up your account from the card, as you cannot do this. If you've successfully registered the card with Paypal then it should be possible to send money using that as a source. If it hasn't been registered yet then it's not going to work.

I thought my last card was registered, but your right it wasn't. Only previous 3v vouchers.

So, if I use a 3v voucher I cannot top up my PayPal account and then send the money to someone else's PayPal e-mail?

I can't register my Visa Debit card for some reason so 3v will be my only option it seems. Just don't want to put it on the 3v card and not be able to send it.

You can't add funds from any card, you use the card to fund a payment. If you've already used you 3V card then why are you worrying about it? Just do the same thing you did before.

As long as you can register the voucher number with them, then you just send the payment. Shouldn't be any problem.

Paypal do limit the number of cards you can apply to any account, and that's the only thing that could cause a problem. If you've already registered about 10 different numbers with them, then you may not be able to register a new one. You should check that out before buying a new voucher.

The other alternative is to send the money from your bank account to Paypal's, and then they apply that credit to your account. Can take about a week to do this, so don't be in a hurry. Details are in the Paypal megathread (see sticky at the top of the forum).

Cheers Jor El, would I be better off setting up a new PayPal account then altogether I'd say I've added the limit amount of card numbers..

Have the voucher here with the cash on it
