I have to agree with Watty on that. Rear for connecting a HDD and front for firmware upgrades and playing media files.

I have an Edision Argus 2in1 which has a rear USB port (but no front). I have to use a USB extension cable to a point behind the telly where I keep the HDD. It's then reasonably easy to plug in a USB memory stick when required.

Fair enough but lets stick to the 120 , whatever chance there is of moving the socket there is zero chance of getting a second one at this price point . May happen with another model but thats for another day.

Yes it is very convenient to have it on the front for those of us who do not have a permanent HDD attached.

I am surprised to note that Tony thinks it possible that Ferguson will change it to the rear while retaining everything else 'as is' on the 120.

I guess if they do, those who make intermittent use of the recording function will just have to use a USB extension
cable to bring the socket to the front ...... thankfully not me as I already have a 120 with the socket where it is most convenient :D

Its hard to please everybody! Obviously front & back is the only solution, but as tony said, for this price its unlikely to happen.

No beacuse the side and top form the cover of the box, it would make it difficult (and more expensive) to make .
