    Good idea Conno. I am checking daily for snow conditions with a view to getting out before Xmas but no dice so far, very few places open anyway.

    deals for xmas and early jan are likely to start emerging in next few weeks as tour operators begin to hit the panic button
    then we slide (or snow plough) in to take advantage!

    I'm looking to head to Soll on Dec 31st for a week. Looking for the cheapest possible deal. Best i found so far is with crystal ski out of belfast:

    £711 stg for flights, accomm, transfers, skipass, ski carriage, and full board.

    Anyone do better????

    Surprised there's no deals as there's no snow and resorts are apparently a bit worried as a result and you'd think they'd be making offers to encourage people out. Some snow forecast in next week but bad start so far.

    Topflight have all ready started to drop their prices and you will not see see the drop till the week before.

    TO have cut back on the number of rooms they have taken this year, and have mothballed a ton of chalets and hotels.

    Also a major Irish TO is really struggling if rumors are to be believed! So you never know

    Le snow est arrive at last, snowing at mo (apparently), interesting to see how the weather goes for the next few days to get a good base down
