Good / thorough car wash in the city?

    Folks, need the outside of the car properly cleaned tomorrow - brake dust on the wheels for about 6 months kinda cleaning required.

    Can anyone make any recommendations? I'm too lazy to get the powerhose out and go at it myself.

    I think I remember hearing good things about the Maxol up at Westside?

    Ya I got one in Westside a few weeks ago. Was very happy with it.

    I was using Crystal Clean in Woodquay for a while. Nice bunch of lads, but unfortunately there was always something not done after each valet. Quite often it was something specified beforehand. I eventually just gave up on using them.

    The guys in the Maxol in Westside used to be excellent.

    Went to westside. Cost 6euro and gave the guy a 4euro tip. Standard was good, the car is clean.

    Didn't remote tar etc but I didn't expect this, ill do that myself when I get back

    Do you think €11 is expensive for a drive - through car wash?
    That is what they charge in Donegal in Service station beside the NCT centre

    Consider yourself warned!!

    In Dublin but from Donegal

    €11!! :eek: b!oody expensive! you would pay €10/12 in dublin for the premier brush wash. Theres a place in Clady (strabane) that must be doing a good job as there always a line of cars waiting to get into it! there was also one in glenside ballybofey which was jet wash, really good and cheap but it closed down.
