Singer seeks musos for prog rock/metal band

... Think Dream theater, Queensryche, metallica, Ufo, Hawkwind,Thin Lizzy..with some pop sensibilities. Have plenty of lyrics, ideas, concepts. Looking for guitars/bass/keys/drums with good abilility.Just mainly for a bit of fun but as long as you are willing to write,be creative and work towards doing some gigs and perhaps an album. Would be open to doing some covers aswell. Based in southeast but would be willing to travel a reasonable distance. Get in contact if you're anyway interested..:)

Why is your band looking for a singer? Looking to form a band starting from scratch rather than join an existing one.

Initially will base the band in waterford city probably jam/practice once or twice a month. . Will be more a slow burning project so its ok if people are involved with cover bands and other projects. There will be no timelines or plans for world domination just something creative to be tipping away with. I realise people have busy lives(myself included) so theres no point going down the practice 3 times a week gigging five times a month route as its not going to work for me. Im past that stage. But having said all that I do want good musicians who are passionate about creating orginal music and who will be committed to the project. location is unimportant as long as you are willing to travel down for practice every couple of weeks . I would be willing to compromise and travel to other locations to jam further down the line aswell.

Anyway thats my latest speech. Have had a degree of interest so far so keep it coming! especially keyboardists havent heard from one yet. Would like to get a jam organised before xmas, if not hopefully the ball will be rolling in the new year.

Most of all I like Dream Theatre in first place. And my drumming is kind of progressive. 40 Y/O from galway. If you didn`t find crazy drummer yet, it could be me :pac:

Just found this thread, I would be interested in this project if it's Still alive, I'm 28, play guitar with 11 years experience and I'm a big dream theatre fan, located in Waterford city.

Waterford is about 4 hrs away from Galway, it`s a pity. I must move to central Ireland to increase my chance.
