Treadmill feels uneven

Just wondering if anyone on here can help me.

I have a treadmill that is relatively new (2-3 months old) and in the last week or so it has started to feel uneven underfoot in the middle. It has been lubricated with the relevant frequency as sepcified. The belt is fine and as tight as needs be.

It just feels like the belt undulates under my feet when I slow the thing down. When I have it turned to 10k or above I can't really notice it but when I'm walking to warm up at the start or warm down at the end I can feel it. It almost feels like walking over ridges.

I've put my hand in under the belt to the area that seems to be effected and there isn't much there. I can feel a couple of little raised areas. They are very minor though.

The only way I could explain them is to say imagine I'd lubricated the belt with glue instead of lubricant and it dried into a couple of little elevated ridges of glue.

Obviously I didn't but that's what they feel like.

I know I can always return it but this always takes a while when dealing with home gym equipment because I purchase it through a work fitness scheme discount and with the bad weather coming in it seems I'd rather fix this one than send it back.

    Cheers

Just make sure you have the right tension as specified in the manual, Iv'e noticed with threadmills the mat tension can be the main fault here, however is it possible you put too much lubrication on too ?, this happens to me alot :)
