hi all so i've had my Sony viao for about three years now with pretty much no problems but over the last few months the battery life has decreased dramatically now to a point where I can't unplug it from the power source at all without it shutting down and I'm just wondering what i can do?? Is it just time to buy a new battery pack or is there something else up??

Batteries tend to degrade over time, 3 years is a good amount of time for a battery to last. You can buy a new battery or just keep using the machine plugged in!
