    Hi guys,

Here is one interesting medallion what is made from 9 carat gold. Text on the reverse "BLC Orme Shield Limerick 1929".

Any ideas what it is? Also how much it would be worth if I would like to let it go?

    Thanks,

    Timo

Looks very similar to the various medals my grandfather got for playing G.A.A. around that same time period. The only difference being the crest in the centre.

Seen two other 9ct medals fall to sell at auction last week.
One was GAA Munster inter County Contest "pushing 28lbs 1913 made €150
Other was 1934 Munster Championship at €380 Limerick Won.

Just to add, the one that I have posted above is an Ulster inter County final medal as far I can remember
