amp hummm

    Was recording a guitar amp what frequency do they usually humm at is it around 50hz or something like that for that humming noise of the mains?

    50 or 60hz depending on the amp specs. Put a high pass filter cutting everything below around 130hz on your guitar track and it should clean up any rumble or hum.
