I just got a call from one of his relatives to say that Honkjelly NAME REMOVED headed out for a spin this morning and hasn't been seen since. If any of you saw him today, or heard anything about a cyclist wrecking or getting clipped, can you text me at (my phone number) so I can pass the word along?

If this slips off the front page, please bump it. I'll post back if I hear any news.

Just dropped in to catch the usual banter here. Not at all nice to read a post like this but it's very good of you to appeal for information from other boardsies. Really hope that the chap is OK and that loved ones are not left worrying for a second longer than necessary. Wish I could be of more help.

its a shock to read threads like this - i'm in Waterford so can't be of any assistance but I really hope he turns up okay.

OK, the good news is that he's alive, well and in Portlaoise (and I don't mean the jail)...evidently he forgot to mention that he was going away for the weekend with the Wheelers to anyone he lives with.

Thanks to the Boardsie who figured out what had happened and managed to get confirmation from another Wheeler that Honkjelly was with them...when I called the family a couple of minutes they picked up on the first ring so you know they were waiting by the phone.

Mods, please desticky. Or you know, maybe leave it up until Honkjelly sees it....

I'll let him know the next time he's on, glad there was nothing serious.

Cram, can you please petition the admins to change HonkJelly's username to ReginaldPerrin? :D

Mods, his name is still all over the thread if that's an issue of concern to you. If I was in his shoes, I'd be grateful to see the thread purged of my identity! Great that all is OK.

His username is still there, but his real name has been removed;)

(mild ribbing is not discouraged ....)

Makes perfect sense. A bit slow of me ... I'm still waking up on this frosty Sunday morning.

What did he say when he was going -

"I'm just going outside.........I may be sometime"

Do you think a spin to Portlaoise will get him a Documentry and a Movie like the 2 lads who were told 'don't go far' and ended up in New York:rolleyes:

Apologies for the missing person drama last night. Thanks Rottenhat for helping my relatives out. Think I'll pass of the film and documentary deals.
