Advice on new laptop

    Hey,
    I'm looking for a bit of help deciding what laptop to buy. I have two in mind and just want to know which one people reckon is the better option.
    The first one is an Acer and the second is a Samsung.

    It'll be used mainly for internet, word, photos, music and some gaming.
    Not sure what sort of games these could handle or which has the better screen? Just football manager style games or could they do more?

    I'm open to other options up to the €600 mark. Not really bothered about battery life or mobility.

    I have an acer at the moment and haven't had any problems with it over the last three years. Is samsung regarded as an equal or better brand?

    And are there any important options that i'm missing out on? Bar a bluray drive!

    Any thoughts would be appreciated
