With a normal 60cm sky dish & box or would I have to get invest in something else?

And also is it hard to align a dish from 28.5 to either 13.0 or 19.2E as the seem pretty close together.

    Thanks

You need really 80cm or more and triax adaptor bar or similar for 3 satellites.

A Sky box is no use. You need a 4 way diseqc switch and a receiver with software for it. Almost any generic box (HD recommended) and some Freesat HD boxes in non-freesat mode.

Hey mate bit of an update. I aligned the sky dish to 19.2E & managed to get a signal from it. I stored some fta channels (according to lynsat) mainly german ones to the other channels menu & when I went to view them all I get is the blue screen, it dosent say anything about no signal just a blue sceen. It that because of the sky box or LNB or both?

I'm guessing if I'm able to pick up the signal with a 60cm dish then all I need is the reciever you mentioned to be able to view them. Or am I compleltly wrong about everything?

I'm still wondering how it was able to pick the signal but able to view the channels?

Would any of these receivers here do the job i'm looking for?

Power City is the only real place in Bray that does anything with Satellite TV & I don't really want to have to go out to town to get something (although I would if there was no other choice).

I got success with 11797 H 27500 3/4 & similar level frequencies. The higher ones like 12662 2200 5/6 couldnt find the signal.

You do not have to go out of Bray to buy stuff. Plenty of people selling over internet, both in Ireland and UK.

    http://www.tvtrade.ie/
    http://www.satworld.ie/

just a few. I bought over internet from first two and found them helpful and quick to deliver. Sat World in Kimmage I called to and got bits there and found them helpful and would explain things well.

There are others, Google is your friend.

You would need two LNB's and a Diseqc switch to swap from satellite to another. 28 and 19 no bother, but with 13 also on a 60cm dish, not so sure, I think it would be a bit small for the spread. I am sure someone more knowledgeable will correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks mate. Yeah I rang a guy who has been installing satellite systems for over 20 yeats & he said a 60cm dish would be enough for 19.2E & 13.0E aslong asI had 2 LNBS & Diseq for them.
