Any top swimmer or ex top swimmer I know is terrible socially. They might be charismatic, decent people but they just don't know how to interact well with people. Is this common or what? Discuss.

Maybe they can interact fine with their own caliber?

They are training non stop, early hours of morning/evenings. There head is stuck in water probably for best part of 4/5 hours a day. All they see is there coach standing over them, telling them kick faster, watch your stoke, try and do better next set.
