It depends on what you're in to whether it is worth it or not. If you like sports well then it isn't as they only have ESPN and Setanta HD. None of the Sky Sports channels or ESPN America are in HD. If you like nature and history etc, they you're sorted as they have a good few Discovery, National Geographic etc. channels in HD. Sky are definitely better for HD as you'll also get Sky one etc. in HD. IPC have BBC1 HD but bugger all else on the entertainment side.

If you really want a lot of HD content, unfortunately you're limited to Sky as many of the channels are locked into exclusive agreements with them.

Cheers, do you know if I can pay for the upgrade upfront for the year as I want to make it part of a Xmas gift ? Does anyone know if I can do this. He's into the history and discovery channels so it should be all good.
