bioshock not playing on my Win7 PC...

Dunno if this is the right forum but I recently downloaded bioshock off steam and now it refuses to run on my pc. Everytime I run it, it gives an error saying "bioshock.exe" has stopped working and it closes the program.

And tried the steps on it but it still doesn't seem to work and gives me the same error... Can anyone help me! :(

Edit: got it working, had to disable all the audiodrivers except for the only one that i'm using connected to my headphones...

I had a similar problem with bioshock when it came out, its was related to a codec pack conflict, If you have any codec packs like K-Lite codec pack, Community codec pack etc uninstall them and try again, Bioshock on pc was very buggy from memory!
