Paid through an unsecure server

Ok, so the other day i was paying for something on ebay through paypal.
I decided to do this from the web browser on my phone from the wifi in my house. When i got to the screen confirming payment it asked me if i wanted to proceed because it was an unsecure server. I went back, declining, but when i logged onto the computer the tranaction was already being processed so there was nothing i could do.
Now last night some lad tried to buy things with the credit card! But the credit card has now been cancelled.

Presuming the credit card details were stolen through the unsecure server I am just wondering whose fault it is here? Is it ebay's , paypal or the browser on my phone?

    Thanks!

eBay and Paypal use secure servers. Are you sure you were dealing with eBay/Paypal and not another site that might look like eBay/Paypal?

Ultimately it's up to you to make sure that you are using your credit card securely.
