Was using image capture to back up my phone images & videos & did so before I upgraded to IOS 5. Have just plugged it in however to back it up & all I get is a phone icon, with no description (used to give the phone name).

iTunes recognises it. Anyone know of any workarounds/fixes ?

Forget it. Do this if you encounter it.

    1. My setting for "When a camera is connected open..." was "No Application." I changed this to "Image Capture" (as it is the fastest to open).
    2. I unplugged and then reconnected my iPhone.
    3. Image Capture then automatically launched, with my iPhone and all of its pictures ready for import.
