I'd watch the Graham Norton Show if Graham Norton wasn't in it.

Ed did talk but that woman just sat there, completely overawed by the occasion. I don't actually know who she is but seems like zero fun!

Nah. She wasn't overawed at all. She worked with Depp in the past. I thought it was quite rude of Norton to focus completely on Depp as soon as he came on. He did the same before when Liza Minelli was on, ignored all the other guests more or less.

If anything it was Norton who was overawed by Johnny Depp.

Yep, Mulligan got to talk plenty before Depp came. Then he arrived and focus jumped to him.

I agree with you. I think that it was very ignorant of Graham Norton to just talk to three of his guests for a few minutes and then Depp arrives and it's all about him for the rest of the show.

I don't think it did Depp any favours either, the joke he made of Ed Byrne was seriously out of order.

Meh, I dont think it was anything out of the ordinary to be honest. You have to remember that Depp rarely does interviews like that and he is probably up their with Di Caprio in terms of movie star at the minute... Norton was always going to give much of the focus to him.

Decent show after a few dodgy ones recently.

    Which joke was that?

Perhaps the joke was removed from the repeat that I recorded, because I never saw anything that was out of order.

The only thing I remember Depp saying to Ed was something along the lines of, "I love your band... Jarvis Cocker ladies and gentlemen."

That was the only one that I spotted, and assumed that I'd missed the one that was supposed to be "seriously out of order".

What's wrong with Jarvis Cocker? He is 1,000,000 times the entertainer Ed Byrne will ever be.

That's an understatement if ever I saw one.:pac:

I thought Johnny Depp's attempt at humour was better than anything Ed Byrne ever came out with.
