I've been going to the gym for a while over a year I look the same . Or only slight differences. I think it's been mainly because I only did cardio. i started doing mat work after as well as the cardio. I eat healthily and I try to avoid junk food , eat small meals.
I've kinda started slacking in the gym , as I haven't been for 5 weeks.
I want to get back to the gym.

Sat - BLT, boxercise, swimming (front & back stroke) 1 hour
    Sun - rest day
Mon - Boxercise , total abs , treadmill
    Tues - Pump & Tone
    Weds - Boxercise, BLT
    Thurs - Pump & Tone
Fri - Treadmill(20mins), crunches , leg lifts , plank, swimming

Is that a good workout plan? I tried pump and tone before but in a different gym I noticed change after only one class. I enjoy boxercise I've been going to that for a while. I want to get down to a size 10. I'm size 12/14.

    Hey,
It really depends on what your goals are...to lose weight/ be fit/ get stronger???

To lose weight you need to create a kcal deficit and this can be done through diet or training or both.

To get fitter or stronger I'm afraid the above plan won't cut it in the long run. Don't get me wrong...if you are a complete beginner then you will get fitter doing those classes and get a bit stronger from the pump and tone but after about 3months the classes wont really have any effect except for helping you to burn kcal.

I did the likes of the above plan for years and years..and it wasnt until I stopped and started doing proper strength training and conditioning workouts that I noticed differences. I still go back and do those classes from time to time but purely for the 'fun' factor cos i enjoy them.

The classes are great for when you are trying to get back into the swing of going to the gym but after your initial progress you'll have to start thinking/researching other workouts.

    Hope that helps :)

Add a spinning class in there.

They are all cardio based aerobic classes. They'll help your total calories burned, but if you are trying to lose weight its your diet that is the issue, not if bocercise is better on a monday or a thursdat, or if you should prob pump for spinning. Minor changes. Besids, you decide intensity.

Fixed your diet. The problem was or is with your diet.
