Can I power a sata DVD drive from a pci sata card with 2 sata cables

    Hi as the question asks can I power my new Sata DVD burner with the sata power cable and the sata to sata cable.thanks for Ur help

    The SATA power would need to come from your PSU, but yeah, you shouldn't have a problem running the data through the PCI card.

    So I just need the cable to power the burner as I've already the data plugged in already.sorry for the stupid questions
