Storage issues on HTC Wildfire S

Hey I have a HTC Wildfire S, Android version 2.3.3, HTC Sense version 2.1 and I keep getting the low storage wizard popping up. I have 1.5GB of space left on my SD card but only 14MB space left on my phone's internal storage. I have it set to only save the last 10 texts from everyone, I have it only saving the last 3 days of emails, cleared the app cache and told it to move everything it could to the SD card but still 90% of my phone's storage is taken up. What do I do?

Also, I have a bunch of apps that keep opening in the background but I don't seem to be able to stop this or uninstall them. I don't use the News or Weather apps but they're always opening themselves. The 3Apps programme also seems to keep opening itself (though it doesn't seem to do anything, I've never gotten a notification from it). Is there a way to remove these or are they a built in part of the phone?

My mate has one, v low amount of storage on phone, Use app2sd, which will move some apps to ds card.

I downloaded an Apps2SD programme. It said there was nothing moveable to the SD card. I guess I'll just have to uninstall stuff.

Edit: I have nine apps installed on my phone. Nine! It should not be out of memory!

ya it's bull****, i've a load of crap like facebook I can't delete.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think you need an xtc clip to debrand it, i've read there isn't a software option.

On mine, even with like 10MB+ of internal storage I couldn't download a 512kb app :o

You can debrand it without an xtc clip, if you click through my previous posts I posted a link to a guide, should only be a few posts back.

Go into your options and turn off fast boot. Them volume down and power should work

Yup that's the one, you don't need s-off for it. It's the official htc software so it doesn't require s-off. As seanybiker said above turn off fast boot in the options, you'll need to do this to install the software, make sure to turn it back on after your finished though.
