Can you set an iTunes song your ringtone on iPhone 4S?

    No, songs and ringtones are different file formats. You'll need to use either an app or a program on your computer to change the format and length correctly.

    2. snip to the 30 secs that you like
    3. download
    4. drag to iTunes
    5. sync
    6. set as ringtone on the phone

    Can be done on iTunes for mac anyway. Not sure about windows.

    If you have a Mac, you can use garage band to create custom ringtones.

    Make sure its listed under Ringtones in iTunes, that Ringtones are set to sync and change in Settings > Sounds > Ringtone.

    When you are synching, make sure the "sync ringtones" box is checked.

    Its in the iphone section where you set you music and all that other stuff.

    I used an app, ringtone maker, fund it far easier
