Wrong " My Location " - HTC Desire S

    Hi ,

    This has been bugging me for a while and I am hoping someone here could throw some light on it .

    I live in Limerick city and when I check " My Location " on my HTC Desire S it gives the right house number , the right street , but then it says Ballycullhane Lower , Glin , Co Limerick . When I go to " show on map " it shows the right place in Limerick City . I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it made no difference .

    Is it a common problem ? is it a problem with " Location " ? is it a problem with google maps ? is it a problem with the Desire S ?

    Anyone have any ideas ?

    I live in Tallaght and get either Lucan or Ballyboden show up for my location, even though Google Maps can pin point my house exactly, and even tell what direction I'm facing.

    I think it must be to do with where Google gets its info from. Maybe most of the Irish records are inaccurate.
