mounting a PIR?

    Can motion sensors be mounted at any angle if it doesn't specically say in the instructions? Or does the position determine how well it will work, by position i mean horizontal or vertical as opposed to near a light and stuff like that!!! :P

    The need to be horizontal with respect to the rectangular window on them, as they sense from left to right, but you can angle them down to reduce the distance they see from the wall they are on, depending on how high they are.
