    Hi All,

How do you find out the cheapest place to get a prescription filled or are prices standard? I have a long prescription every month and want to try and make sure I'm getting the best value I can. Do I have to just ring around?

    Thanks,
    Kaz

I don't think there is any standard pricing - each pharmacy is free to set their own pricing. The best thing to do is ring around, and always check if there is a generic version of the drug available.

My Noriday pill was 20% cheaper in Boots than the local pharmacy but Betnovate cream was about 10% dearer in Boots, so it depends what your buying.
