Did they ever give back the money taken after the illegal toll increases?

No, just reduced prices by 10c for 6 months and now they are putting them back up again! Disgrace!

This entire area is shrouded in secrecy and "Commercial Sensitivity" in order to prevent any mere mortals from delving too deeply into whatever secret agreements were reached between Noel Dempsey and his Department and the various Toll Facility franchisees.

This particular increase stinks to high heaven, particularly when we know that the State is already directly compensating many of the Toll Franchisees due to traffic volumes having collapsed.

If these "Favoured" companies want a piece of the action then let them build their own infrastructure and run it themselves...apart from that they should be told to fcuxk right off...and their political "friends" with them.

Men, it has been well said, think in herds; it will be seen that they go mad in herds, while they only recover their senses slowly, and one by one.
