Insuring music equipment?

Any one out there have any idea what company might insure gear which is left in a van, whether its stolen from out side its normal place of residence, damaged in transit, van set on fire ect! How many bands have thousands of euros worth of gear left in vans during the week and not considered what would happen if the van…

Any one out there have any idea what company might insure gear which is left in a van, whether its stolen from out side its normal place of residence, damaged in transit, van set on fire ect!
How many bands have thousands of euros worth of gear left in vans during the week and not considered what would happen if the van was stolen and the gear inside not insured!
already contacted my own insurance company and they would not insure it and had no idea who might do so!

Check out the resources thread for one site that specialises in insurance for musicians. I've never used them so I can't comment on whether they are good or bad.
