The next bicycle & miscellaneous items auction on behalf of An Garda Siochana will take place on Saturday 12th November 2011 at 11am.

Choose From Over 200 Vehicles For Auction To Include A Large Selection Of Ex-Finance Vehicles, Commercial Vehicles, Dealer Part Exchange & Private Entries PLUS A Large Selection Of Bicycles & Miscellaneous Items To Be Sold NO RESERVE To The Highest Bidder! Bicycle Auction will take place at 12.30pm.

You've never heard of the Guards actioning off unclaimed goods? It happens a few times a year.

Cars/Bikes won't be as cheap as you might think.
A lot of traders go for the cars and make sure there is a base line for them but will still be cheaper over a garage.
Lot of Public buyers for the bikes at previous auctions, prices varied but will depend on how many people are there at the time as a lot of people drift off if it takes a long time to get them all through .

What has been cheap at these is builder tools and the like.
Last one I was at, a builder bought something (don't ask me what it was) and I heard him talking after to a mate and he said "it's a bargain at €500,
I would have paid 2k for it, it's worth 5 of anybody's money".

Be warned:
Vat and/or buyers premiums will be added to final bid.
Also a 2% CC charge.

How much would a car go for at these auctions?

Me and a friend where going to go out to look at an auction of South Dublin Motors. They had a **** load of vans and cars all where fords 06 to 09.

If I sold my car tomorrow and got 3,000 euro for mine would I expect to get one of them cars/vans for 3,000 at that auction or am I wasting my time?

wilsons out by city west used to have one every week, the sell repos and garda stuffy, bargains may be had at times, one needs to attend every week.

These no reserve auctions are a a joke.

It all works in favour oif the 2nd hand car dealers that do be there.

You will end up paying over the odds for the bloody thing,in the end.

Thats why I dont bother with them.

Waste of time and money.
