    Saw this film years ago and it really left a lasting impression

    Really, really disturbing, kind of in the same vein as Funny Games but even more messed up

    Essentially it's based on the true story of a gang of friends who conspire to kill one of their group who frequently bullies the lead

    It's certainly not for the faint-hearted and contains one of the most chilling scenes I've ever seen

    Just wondering what other people made of it who saw it considering it got somewhat mixed reviews?

    Thought it was very good. I'm into gritty, people-do-stupid-things-in-small-town-America/teenage mentalness kinda films anyway so this fit the bill.

    The acting is very good. The bullied (Brad Renfro) is sadly now deceased and it also stars Michael Pitt albeit in a relatively smaller part.

    Definitely worth the watch for anyone who hasn't seen it yet.

    Larry Clarkes best movie imo.

    Nick Stahl is really good in it,as is Renfro.

    Forgot Renfro was dead, Michael Pitt is very good in it alright, a hell of a lot better than he is in B Empire
