    Hi there,

Does anyone know of a company who do Data Recovery of hard drives in Cork or Ireland? I have two drives and cant get onto them after lots of effort so gonna suggest going to a company who deals with this.

I know of one company in England but they are pricey ... http://www.krollontrack.co.uk/

    Any ideas?

Datarecovery.ie are one that I know of. I've never used them, but I imagine it will cost you a few euros.

I've recently been in there about a Hard Drive, they're very expensive and don't like to give you any information i.e. when you go to a mechanic they tell you what's wrong and the procedures they need to take. I got no information for my €45 deposit or diagnostics when I asked about the drive over the phone.

When I was looking around the shop the items on sale were incredibly expensive, 8GB USB drives for 2 or 3 times the price you could get them in Tesco (nevermind online). And I'm not talking about high end security enabled USBs either.

Took the drive back and walked. I'd rather find someone I trusted and pay them well.

Just my experience of the place.
