Sky+ remote not working

Hey guys, wondering if any of you could shed some light on this.

Last night my remote stopped working, no led light when buttons were pressed, I had this problem before so I took out the batteries for a few minutes and then pressed select and red and input the tv code - worked grand.
Came down this morning to find the remote led constantly blinking every second and it won't control the sky box or tv. I tried doing the above again but no luck. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi..

Sounds crazy seen as its nothing to do with the remote but try plugging out the box itself from the wall.. Just 30 seconds or so and see if that helps..

Happened me the other day, No red light and wouldnt record.. Sorted!

Your symptom could be caused by a coffee spillage.

I know somebody that hits his off the floor and it starts working!

Yes, it's always a good idea to bash your handset on the floor, rather than simply fixing the bad connection. Usually the battery contacts.
