gf bought a 2009 auris from garage 2 weeks ago, they fully serviced it prior to colelction.

my test is coming up and the brakes are a bit squeaky. does it matter?!

    garage said pads were done.

i might try get some grease or something thrown on as i dont want any unnecessary distractions.

    opinions?

Were new pads just put on after the latest service? If so they'll need some time to bed in. Squeaky brakes after new pads is normal enough.

    Do not grease your brakes.
If the brakes were done as part of the service they will be ok. If you doubt the honesty of ability of the garage get the checked by someone else.

they serviced the car 2 weeks ago before giving it to her, and they started squeaking this week.

Your brother in law is the best man to be talking to. The examiners won't mind that sound. They will have sat in cars a lot older and noiser then yours. Don't worry. Good luck.
